The Car Guys were very helpful and professional. They did the job (oil change and inspection) while I waited and also offered observances for future maintenance. The garage is clean and well maintained. I've brought 2 cars there so far and will continue to use them for future auto needs.

Everyone is always so kind and helpful, no matter the problem with the vehicle.

These guys are great! They explained everything, found ways for me to save money on parts and didnt charge me for the diagnostic although they worked on my car for over 90 minutes. I brought a 1985 Corvette in and not only were they were happy to work on it, they will be haloing me get this project car completely repaired and upgraded. I have many other cars ranging from 60s muscle to English sports cars. They can fix anything. This is my new go to mechanic shop for all of my cars.

I had a great experience with The Car Guys in Porters Neck. They recently serviced the transmission on my Ford F-150 and did an outstanding job from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed throughout the process. One thing that really stood out was how clean and well-organized their facility is—it says a lot about the level of care they put into their work. I'm just disappointed. The first day I called, I gave my vin number over the phone for a simple serpentine belt repair quote. He said he'd get the quote and call me back. I never received another call, so I called back again another day. He apologized and said he got busy, no biggie, I get it. He said he couldn't find my car by the vin number, so I gave my license plate. He again said cool, thank you, I'll call you back. I called at 2pm, and they closed at 6 that day. I still haven't received a call back. All I wanted was a ballpark number so I can get it scheduled, and you guys had such great reviews and were so close to me. He was nice, but I guess i'll have to find somewhere else :(

They were very helpful and informative, we had to get the AC serviced and they got us in the next day. We were driving across country and they were able to get us in and service the AC. Works awesome, thank you all car guys!

I initially wrote a really good review of this place. They got me in and out on very short notice for an inspection and were very friendly. HOWEVER... the mechanic told me my break pads had reached the end of their life and needed to be replaced and he said he'd like to go ahead and do it right then. I had to travel and didn't have time to replace them at that moment, so I declined. He said it may not be safe to travel, but I did. Upon reaching my destination I took my car to a different shop and told them I needed my break pads replaced. They pulled all 4 of my tires and the mechanic came out with a perplexed look and said, "What exactly was it that made you think your pads needed to be replaced? Were you hearing a weird sound or something?" I told him no, another mechanic had told my they were shot. He said, "Absolutely not. They're not even halfway worn down. Someone was trying to pull one over on you. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to sell you $1000 in break pads right now but you just don't need them." So that felt like trash. Sometimes I really hate being a woman. Thanks a bunch, Car Guys.
