Came to Carolina Beach for vacation and my truck barely made it to my destination. I knew it was having a little trouble on the way but just wasn’t sure what it was. Bought some tools while down here to replace an engine coolant sensor I had with me and that unfortunately didn’t fix my issue. Truck would start after some coaxing but would not idle. Looked up “best auto shops in Carolina Beach” and the car guys came up. Read some of the reviews and knew I would call them first. I was talked to like family on the phone and even better in person when I finally limped my truck to their shop. I couldn’t have even dreamed of having a better experience at a repair shop. They explained everything they were going to do to get me back on the road and said they would call me first before they did any repairs to make sure I was ok with what they found. I had brought an additional sensor with me to change out and by just absolute pure luck it was the sensor I needed to fix the issue. Even they couldn’t believe how lucky I was being from out of town and having the right part already with me. They changed it out and test drove the truck to make sure I wouldn’t be left stranded and I was back in business. I can assure you, from personal experience, that any bad reviews on Google about this business are from people who are never satisfied with ANYTHING in their lives, even their mammas home cooking. Just do yourself a favor, if you have any vehicle issues and you are even remotely close to The Car Guys in Wilmington, North Carolina, just call them to see when you can drop of your vehicle and you will be in excellent hands. I just can’t thank and praise them enough for taking care of me.

We just moved to the area and had my wife’s Mercedes shipped to us and we picked it up in the morning and an hour later the check engine light came on and the motor was really shaking. Asked a friend and they recommended the Car Guys. Called around 11 a.m. and they made time for us to bring it right over. Had some electrical issues, cables, plugs and a couple minor things. They diagnosed it by that afternoon with a VERY fair price for what needed to be done and had it ready the next day. This was are only car at the time so the turnaround was much appreciated. Cain was a great ambassador for The Car Guys and I would recommend them to anyone who wants an honest, fair priced and professional repair / service to their vehicle. Also very friendly customers, was going to get and Uber home and a customer picking up their car offered me a ride, the people of this area are one of the reasons we moved to this beautiful area,, thanks Juno!!!!!
