Common sense solutions and fast. I think I have a new mechanic.

After many days with a different shop trying to diagnose a crazy electrical gremlin in my dodge I took the advice of a close friend who said to go see Rich at the car guys. I spent 10 min explaining to Rich about the problem and the attempts to fix them at another place and he said he would dive right in. A lot of other shops didn’t even want to mess with an electrical issue but Rich was all about it and I believe he likes the challenge. Rich worked on my vehicle and after a week (I wasn’t in a hurry and told him to fit it in) he had pinpointed the issue and gave me a couple choices to fix it. I was super impressed. I picked up the car that next week and have been driving it since without any issues. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Super honest, extremely capable, and very fair. Don’t go anywhere else.

The Car Guys on Carolina Beach Rd. offers very helpful and professional customer service. They do excellent work that is warrantied. I have not needed to go back for a repeat problem. They are always busy with a packed lot when I go, yet they always finish by the promised time or better. Prices are reasonable, but if there was any criticism I could make, it is that they are more expensive than my last mechanic. I pay it gladly for the quality of their work and for how much more organized their operation is. They always contact me before performing any work that wasnt requested, and they have never offered anything that the car did not clearly need. I would definitely recommend them.
