Our check engine light came on the first day in Carolina Beach. Turns out it was the ignition coil. The shop was able to repair it within a half hour with the coil I bought for the price quoted. Vacation was saved! Thanks to the Car Guys.

The Car Guys are my new go-to auto shop! I recently moved to the area and needed an oil change and a tire rotation/alignment on my Volvo xc90 before an upcoming road trip. The Car Guys got me in for an appointment promptly, finished the work quickly, and the price was very affordable— I got both services done for almost the same price as another shop where I had gotten only an oil change. Great customer service. I waited for my vehicle which was nice since most car repair places only offer drop off services. I waited less than an hour and my issue was resolved. They assured me that if I had any other issues to bring it back so that they could trouble shoot.

Used this service center to check a repair another service center said I needed at the cost of 1800 dollars in order to pass inspection . These guys checked it out and found that what I was told wasn’t accurate , and the problem may have been caused intentionally by the other service center so they took care of my car for 90. Dollars. Stop at this shop to get a second opinion on a repair to my steering which the first shop I went to said there was a severe leak and couldn’t pass inspection but they could fix it at the cost of 1800 dollars ! But getting lucky and coming to this shop they checked it out, and told me it looked like a puncture in the rubber boot but not leaking to the point that work had to be performed to pass inspection .So they cleaned it up and when I had it inspected it passed . Thanks to Chris and the honest shop my family and I will be come permanent customers !!

A check engine light coming on while far away from home on vacation is never anything anybody wants to deal with!! However, after being told by a nearby shop we’d be without our car for days, I called The Car Guys. Chris was so nice and helpful. He got us right in and explained the issue. He ended up getting all of our engine coils and spark plugs replaced on our Mercedes and back to us the SAME DAY, under the initial quoted amount! We were so thankful for the customer service and the quick, quality work. Thanks to The Car Guys, We are back in working order with our car to enjoy the rest of our vacation. Highly recommend!
